FOOD PANTRY
Our food pantry serves an average of 3000 people each month giving out approximately 50,000 pounds of food. We strive to provide fresh fruits and vegetables and other nourishing food for those individuals and families in our area working to stretch already limited budgets. At this time we are doing drive through or walkup distributions. In addition to our regular pantry services, in partnership with 2nd Harvest, we operate The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) and the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP-Senior Boxes) as well as Bite to Go Meals for kids in our local school “…through love serve one another.” Galatians 5:13(NKJV) We proudly partner with 2nd Harvest Food Bank and Northwest Harvest Food Bank |

CLOTHING MINISTRYOur Clothing Bank serves an average of 500 families each month, providing over 1500 pounds of clothing. We provide clean, comfortable, useful clothing and household goods to those who need a supporting hand, where you can shop in an atmosphere of love and friendship.
"If God so clothes the grass of the field..... Shall He not much more clothe you?" Matthew 6:30 (NIV) |
BITE TO GO MEAL
+
In the Spring of 2012 Serve Spokane began partnering with 2nd Harvest to provide child-friendly weekend meals for food-insecure children who depend on free or reduced cost meals in the local schools for a significant portion of their nutrition. As donors have joined with us we have increased from 34 kids every other week to 75 children EVERY WEEK in 2023. But there are many more who could benefit from this program. Please help us ensure no child goes hungry on the weekends! |
CITY REACH
Our City Reach program encompasses the many activities that connect us to our Spokane neighbors. In the past this has included neighborhood clean-ups, backpack/school supply/school shoe collections to help kids get off to a good start when school begins, and an Christmas events.
It also includes the amazing people who do food and clothing drives for us throughout the year, such as a local soccer league, area markets and businesses, churches, banks and individuals. All of you make Serve Spokane possible. Thank you! |
